Which arm you need

Two numbers decide it: what the arm has to carry, and how far it has to reach across your bench. Find your corner on the left, then check the reach classes on the right.

Simple to set up and program, and used across a diverse range of industries.

Every arm ships with force sensing, collision detection and virtual safety planes built in, so it can work alongside people rather than behind a fence.

What they are used for

Welding

MIG welding with a torch on the flange, with a dedicated UR+ software add-on.

Material removal

Sanding, grinding and surface finishing.

Machine tending

Loading and unloading of parts to be machined or finished.

Assembly

Repeatable placement and fastening with force-sensitive grippers and screw driving.

Palletising

End-of-line stacking, where the 20 kg and 30 kg payload arms earn their keep.

Welding is the most common reason shops call us. If that is the job, we supply the arm as a complete Cobot Welding System with Smooth Robotics software, a Fronius or Miller MIG power source and a Siegmund table.

Customer case study
“It’s just repeatable. It just does the same thing every time. We’ve gone from manually welding it to doing it four times faster with a cobot.”
